Welcome Ceremony

I forgot to mention the wonderful welcome ceremony that the students and teachers at the school prepared for us on Friday.  It started with a traditional "buy see" presentation, which is when a flower arrangement is made out of banana leaves and flowers.  There are also strings attached that, after a prayer, are tied around ones wrist.  First, the string is pulled out from the body (to pull out the bad) and then in (to bring in the good).

Following the buy see, we watch beautiful Thai dancing and listened to talented musicians.  It was excited!
