Yesterday, we visited Nong Kai. This is a city on the MeKong river, very close to Vientiane, Laos. We were able to see the first Friendship bridge between Thailand and Laos, eat a delicious meal on the MeKong river, and buy a few silver bracelets at the market.
It was an excellent day!
