Bangkok Hospital

This might be a less interesting blog post... About my trip to the hospital.  Before you start-- I am 100% fine.

So, I was experiencing a little stomach discomfort and the hotel nurse (yes, there is a hotel nurse for free) told me I needed to go to the hospital to make sure it wasn't my kidneys.  And my mom heard her say that, so of course we were going..."just to be sure."

My experience there was wonderful.  Kind people, seemless check-in process, very little waiting to see a doctor, blood work and urine test, and antibiotics.

The doctor, who was great, asked me if I took any drugs. No told her ibuprofen... she interrupted me "no, no, no... Drugs.  Heroin?  Cocaine?"  Then, after assuring her I wasn't pregnant, she ordered the lab tests-- I have a small infection.  No worries.

She also told me I have a lump on my thyroid and should see a doctor when I get home... Ok, will do.

It was all quick and painless at the (more expensive) private hospital.  It cost 2550 baht-- about $80-- including medication.

master?  Does that mean me?
